I've never seen a couple statue quite like this. I thought it was really pretty.
I don't really enjoy seeing images of Jesus on the cross, but I liked the realism and detail of this Jesus.
I wanted to see what it might have looked like to stand in front of him. He has a swollen eye.

There were six identical angels guarding the cemetery - three at each entrance.
I thought it was interesting how the angel was clutching its robe - perhaps in grief as Jesus was on the cross, between them?
