Not Prickly But Still Dangerous

I accidentally killed a bamboo once. Apparently that's difficult to do. To its credit, that poor plant hung in there much longer than any other plant I've had the misfortune of killing. I'd love to have a garden, but I would probably have to hire a gardener. I find myself tempted to try every now and then, but am always reminded why I remain relatively plant-less.

One evening, a few weeks ago, I was in Meijer for who-knows-what and saw the happiest little cactus I have ever laid eyes on.
I couldn't resist.

I hemmed and hawed at first because cacti (?) are prickly and I'm notoriously klutzy. It seemed a dangerous combination. However, this cactus was fuzzy.

Isn't that cute? A happy, fuzzy cactus.

It seemed made for me.

I quickly discovered that whether it's prickly or fuzzy, a cactus is a cactus and fuzzies eventually begin to sting and get stuck in your fingers, arms, and inner elbows and nothing short of two showers and furious scrubbing gets them all out.

The moral of this story is this: Never pet a fuzzy cactus.

I believe my happy fuzzy cactus needs a name. I am convinced it is a female. I toyed with Cactus Jane, but I'm not sure how her chihuahua counterpart would feel about it, so I'm asking for suggestions.

What should I name my happy fuzzy female cactus?
