Three cool things about where I live:
1. I can walk to the beach.
2. I can walk through a tourist trap of cutesy stores (including a Chocolate Cafe).
3. I can watch the Fourth of July fireworks from my living room.
3A. I can watch the fireworks while wearing my pajamas.
3B. I can read a book until the fireworks start.
3C. I can avoid the absolute craziness of hoards of kids, parents, and drunks waiting to watch fireworks over the lake.
3D. I don't have to worry about traffic (driving or on foot) as all the crazies leave.
3E. I can go to bed the second the fireworks are over.
