I Hate Sneezing

You know what bugs me? When someone sneezes twice and says, "I think I might be getting allergies."

If you have allergies, YOU KNOW.

Take me, for example. In fact, let's take today. I ventured forth into the wilderness for a nice day of geocaching. I'm not sure I even saw where I was because I was sneezing so often. I'm not talking about little sissy sneezes, I'm talking about humongous brain-exploding sneezes that sends spit and snot flying and makes your eyes start streaming. If you have allergies, you know these sneezes. You also recognize the mucus and slime that slides down your throat from your nose and quite possibly your brain, taking a disgusting stringy pit stop on your tongue which has probably started itching by now. There may even come a point when you have to gasp for breath between said sneezes and snot explosions. You feel like every fluid in your head is oozing out of your mouth and nose. In fact, come to think of it, you seem to have far more fluids in your head than usual. You begin to wonder how you can still be alive with all this crap coming out of you and you sneeze some more.

Then some douchebag you usually consider a friend says, "I like to sneeze," and you want to punch him or her in the face.

The nights are getting cooler and I'm sneezing like nobody's business. Welcome to the next season, folks. My allergies are the worst during season changes, especially Summer to Fall thanks to harvesting in the farms. I love the fall - I'm already in the mood for apple cider, cinnamon, pumpkins, and colored leaves. I only wish I could take the transition better!

Did I just gross everyone out? lol
